Hubei Province delegation in São Gonçalo (RJ)

On 23 September 2025, Deputy Secretary Valéria welcomed a delegation from Hubei Province, China, at São Gonçalo's Municipal Department of Economic Development. The meeting included Councillor Tião Nanci, local entrepreneur Aécio Nanci, ASCONLESTE President Claudete Klugel and IECBC Director Paulo Alves. The Chinese delegation comprised: • Wu Xiaofeng — Representative of the Hubei Provincial Development and Reform Commission • Hu Lei — Representative of the Energy Dispatch Department of the Hubei Provincial Commission • Zhan Zhimin — Representative of Hubei Electricity Trading Centre Ltd. • Wei Hongtao — Chairman of Hubei Energy Group Ltd. The discussion covered investment, electric vehicle manufacturing and trade, the battery supply chain, clean energy generation and educational exchange. The deputy secretary presented São Gonçalo's potential, while entrepreneur Aécio Nanci contributed a strategic perspective on developing bilateral relations.
